Housing Sector in Azad Kashmir Will Be Modernized: AJK PM
The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Mr. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has addressed the housing situation in Kashmir. He wants the housing sector in Azad Kashmir to be modernized and all the housing-related issues to be resolved according to the increasing population of Kashmir.
Atif Ayub Mayo the Former chairman of Housing led a delegation in the Jammu Kashmir House, Islamabad when the Prime Minister expressed his views on the said matter. Mr. Tanveer expressed his concerns over the increasing population and wants to cater to the problems of the locals.
He has clear directions on the matter and wants to elevate the living standards of the Kashmiris. The cities and towns in Kashmir need overhauling in their housing sector to promote better living standards for the common people.
The development will be uniform all across the Kashmir region and there will be no city or town left in the process. The Prime Minister ensured the people that the development work will be done regardless of any area in the entire housing sector in Azad Kashmir.
Mr. Tanveer has an eye for the cottage industry development in the area and wants to make sure that the Azad Jammu and Kashmir become the hub of cottage industries. This will not only promote a new income source but will also lessen the dependency on tourism. The development work will have a positive impact on the tourism industry as well.
