Capital Development Authority (CDA) is likely to hand over the construction and development of CDA sectors C-14 and C-15 to Frontier Works Organization (FWO) or the National Logistics Cell (NLC). These two sectors are ideally located alongside Margalla Avenue at the base of Margalla Hills.

The lowest bid that the CDA has received for the development of C-14 is from NLC. The estimated cost of developing this sector is PKR 1.33 billion and the lowest bid from NLC is PKR 1.5 billion.

The documentation for the development of C-15 is almost completed and the bidding will soon be conducted for this sector as well. The work on the service road for C-15 is already underway by a private contractor and the development of the drainage system, and streets will be conducted later on.

CDA has yet not issued allotment letters against Build Up Property (BuP) and the development cannot be started if these are not issued. The villagers are reluctant to leave the area without these allotment letters.

FWO and NLC are two credible government contractors that have completed the projects previously as well. The development of C-14 and C-15 will be done in record time once any of these contractors start working on it.

CDA is looking forward to the completion of underdeveloped CDA-sectors and for this purpose, a meeting was also held by the chairman himself. He showed his concerns over the issue of land possession in E-12.

CDA will soon announce the contracts and FWO or NLC will likely get the development contract for CDA sectors C-14 and C-15.
