Ministry of Communication Approves Housing for NHA Employees
News: In the latest news, the Ministry of Communication has signed the approval for the development of affordable housing for employees of the National Highways Authority (NHA).
Recently, good news was announced for the employees of the National Highways Authority (NHA). The Federal Minister of Communication was presented with a proposal for the development of affordable housing for NHA employees. In this proposal, a housing society was suggested to the Federal Minister, Mr. Asad Mahmood. The proposal was reviewed thoroughly and accepted by the Ministry of Communications.
The main purpose of developing this project is to provide the personnel of the National Highways Authority with different housing options at affordable prices and installments. According to available data, this residential project will be developed near M-1 and M-2 motorways.
In addition to housing for NHA Employees, the Federal Minister also ordered the development of 2 extra link roads (loops) at the M-1 and M-2 Motorway Interchanges. These loops will provide enhanced access to Islamabad International Airport and other cities including Lahore and Peshawar.
According to the officials, the foundation of affordable housing for NHA employees with be laid in the present month, and development will follow shortly after. Federal Minister also emphasized the early completion of this project so that residences can be allotted to employees and their families. This apartment complex will offer different sizes of units, equipped with all required amenities. This project will be developed on 121 Kanals of land near the M-1 and M-2 Motorway which is owned by National Highway Authority.
It is also crucial to note that the National Highway Foundation (NHF) has already launched a housing scheme for the provision of affordable plots and homes to the present and retired employees of NHA at affordable prices. It is located in Zone 5 of Islamabad; development is underway in this housing society!
