National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has observed overwhelming response to Naya Pakistan Housing Program since the launch of registration drive in July 2019. More than 1.4 million applications have been received from across the country till date.
Major cities, i.e. Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Islamabad and Peshawar have obviously had the major chunk of registrants. About 150,000 applications were received from Lahore, about 47000 were received from Multan, and about 900,000 applications were received from different districts of Karachi.
PM Imran Khan’s initiative to provide low cost housing solution to the lower and middle income families of Pakistan has been felicitated across the country. Registered members will be given housing units in their preferred districts through computerized ballot, and mortgage facility will also be available through commercial banks.
Anybody having Pakistani nationality is eligible to apply for this low cost housing program. Online registration system developed by NADRA has made it simple for anybody to just log on to the website, and register themselves by paying a nominal registration fee of PKR 250/-.

The registration drive was scheduled to be ended on 15th October, 2019, but due to the overwhelming response and increasing number of registrations day by day, NADRA has decided to increase the registration deadline till 15th of November 2019.
It is important that interested families do not wait for the deadline, and get registered as soon as possible by visiting any nearby NADRA E-Sahulat Center, or simply register online by paying through Easy Paisa/Jazz Cash or Credit Card.
