Capital Development Authority has decided to postpone the scheduled auction of commercial plots of New Blue Area Islamabad for at least one month. The decision has been taken in the wake of the ongoing emergency situation in the Country due to Coronavirus Pandemic.Â
CDA has announced the change in schedule through a newspaper advertisement (copy attached below). The revised schedule of auction will be announced soon as CDA may have to make arrangements for conducting the auction by employing precautionary measures as defined by Health Ministry.
This deferment offers an opportunity to those investors who want to participate in the auction after the announcement of historic stimulus package for construction industry by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Forms can be obtained from designated banks and deposited with specified token money until the new deadline. Previously sold out application forms will be valid for the auction on new dates.
