Ministry of Commerce Employees Cooperative Housing Scheme is located on Fateh Jang Road next to PAF Tarnol Housing Scheme and just opposite to PECHS Society. Since it is a cooperative housing scheme, it is registered under ICT which holds elections for its management committee after each term. Popular investors, and people from the management compete for the election, and all plot holders are invited to vote for their preferred candidate.
The elections for MOCECHS were held on 7th January 2018 at Football ground, sector F-8 markaz, Islamabad. Etihad group obtained the maximum votes, so it won the election. Other 3 parties were completely wiped out, as Etihad group got more than 90% votes which reflects the confidence of members on this group.
Following is the composition of successful members of Etihad group:
- Rana Ghulam Fareed was elected as the President
- Muhammad Riaz was elected as the Vice President
- Mazhar Hussain was elected as the Secretary
- Muhammad Aish Fanan was elected as the Treasurer
