DHA Bahawalpur announced the balloting results for the residential and commercial plots. They sought applications for the balloting from mid-October to 15 November 2021.
It was the sixth General Ballot for DHA Bahawalpur and it was mainly aimed towards the new applicants. Since small plot sizes were also included in this balloting, this means that the target was the affordable housing this time.

Special priority was given to some of the applicants based on a set criterion. Disabled people, senior citizens, residents of Bahawalpur, and employees of DHA were amongst the ones being given priority.
DHA Bahawalpur has also given the option of checking the results through SMS service for those who cannot visit the website. People can send their CNIC number on 44732 and they will be able to get a reply from DHA Bahawalpur for the results against their ID card.

DHA Bahawalpur has extended its offering to 10 Marla and 1 Kanal residential plots as well to attract more investors. However, the majority is still looking forward to the development of smaller residential plots of five Marla and eight Marla.
The significance of this balloting is to ensure that the small investors can also invest in DHA Bahawalpur. Investors also benefited from this balloting because they also look forward to new DHA projects.
