Capital Development Authority has failed to resolve land issues in its Jewel project “Park Enclave Islamabad“. According the latest updates, CDA has failed to get possession of land in few streets of Park Enclave 1, where about 50 allottees are still waiting for possession of their plots.
CDA launched Park Enclave Phase 2 in 2015 at very high prices without acquiring required land for the project. Due to that issue, CDA has been unable to initiate development work on phase 2 till date.
According to Mayor Islamabad, the land acquisition issue will be resolved very soon as they are trying to shift the local residents to Kurri village in order to vacate the land so that development work can be initiated as soon as possible.
The present management of CDA has put all blame of land issues on previous management. Due to no development, many allottees of phase 2 have stopped paying their installments and few have even claimed refund of their money from CDA.
