CDA is going to conduct balloting for alternative plots to the owners of Flats in sector I-15 Islamabad. Since CDA had launched bookings of plots as well as flats in sector I-15 but development work could not start due to negligence of CDA authorities, the authority has now decided to drop the plan of apartments and revise the layout plan of the sector by adding more plots.
Since it has been many years when the sector was launched, residential flats are not feasible due to the increased cost of construction. Therefore, CDA has announced that it will allot residential plots after balloting in lieu of flats. All the allottees of the flats are thereby requested to convey their acceptance to the offer, or they can take back their deposited amount for the flat.
The balloting is scheduled to be held in Jinnah Convention Center on 26th of March 2015. The allottees should convey their willingness to the undersigned before 26th in order to avail this offer. The deposited amount for the flat is much less than that value of 5 marla residential plot in sector I-15, therefore the offer to accept residential plot in lieu of flats seems more attractive rather than reimbursement of actual paid amount.
The sector was launched in 2005, and 8000 flats were allotted at 14 lac rupees per flat. The idea was dropped later on and 4000 allottees were reimbursed. The remaining 4000 allottees are now given this opportunity to either take 5 marla residential plots or take their money back.
