While the location earmarked for Park View City Rawalpindi actually lies in Gujar Khan which is a tehsil of Rawalpindi, technically it is part of Rawalpindi. Since Rawalpindi sells better than Gujar Khan, the branding carries the name of the district, not the tehsil where it actually exists.

As Park View City Rawalpindi is a rebranded version of Mega City Gujar Khan which was already under process with RDA, the process will resume with name and ownership changes and other formalities including a revised master plan for the scheme.
