Finance Minister Orders the Balloting of Nilore Heights-1 Project
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has ordered the balloting of the Nilore Heights-1 housing project for overseas Pakistanis. For this purpose, he has directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to take proper action and arrange this balloting as soon as possible. The project is located in Islamabad and is being developed by the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF).
CDA officials held a meeting with the Finance Minister, where he was briefed about the all ongoing projects for overseas Pakistanis. There, he ordered the timely balloting and completion of the project to facilitate the overseas investors. CDA officials ensured the Finance Minister that the project will be developed by 8th May 2023.
He was also briefed about other projects for the overseas community including sectors C-15 and C-16, which will be developed in the next phase. Furthermore, Ishaq Dar also directed the civic agency to pay special attention to Kuri Enclave and Overseas Enclave Islamabad. Dar further directed that the commercial plots should be sold only in U.S Dollars so that the foreign reserves can be improved as well.
The project is being developed to provide affordable housing options to overseas Pakistanis. The OPF has already completed several housing projects for overseas Pakistanis in different parts of the country, and the Nilore Heights-1 project is expected to be another successful venture.
Overseas Pakistani Foundation has also announced that it will be launching several other housing projects for overseas Pakistanis shortly. These projects will be developed in different parts of the country, including Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar.
