DHA Valley Islamabad Possessions Expected in 2020
DHA has reportedly announced to hand over possessions of few blocks of DHA Valley Islamabad in 2020. A few hundred residential plots will be given to those who are willing to start construction of their houses. Initial possessions are expected to be given in Lily, Oleander and Daffodils blocks.
The news about possessions came out from a meeting held on 24th December 2019 between DHA Islamabad & DHA Valley Affectees. The meeting was held in response to protests by the affectees of DHA Valley who have been struggling for past many years to raise this issue.
DHA representatives briefed the members of DHA Valley Affectees about the ongoing development work at different parts of the project, and about the land issues hindering progress. The meeting ended at a positive note, and a follow-up meeting will be held in March 2020 for further discussion.
The affectees asked DHA to hand over possessions of reballoted plots in first and 2nd quarters of 2020, and provide all basic amenities in the developed blocks. The members also demanded expressway bridge to be completed within 3 months as it would connect DHA Valley with DHA Phase 6 Islamabad.
After discussion, the affectees asked DHA to hand over early possessions to at least 100 to 150 plots in developed blocks, i.e. Oleander, Lily & Daffodils, in order to improve perception about the project.
DHA assured full cooperation and commitment to working out details about possible early possessions in blocks linked with blacktop roads. DHA would consider only those members for possession of their plots who are interested to build their houses. Therefore, interested members should submit their application for possessions in order to avail early possessions.
Regarding the bridge, DHA has informed the affectees that after the imposition of Sector 4, a few blocks have been deleted including the location of the bridge due to acquisition of land.
Follow-up meeting will be scheduled on the first week of March 2020, where more updates about the subject issues will be discussed.

As soon as DHA works out possession criteria, and few plots are handed over to members, market prices of plots will jump significantly. Therefore, it is high time to make a small investment in re-balloted plots of developed blocks in DHA Valley Islamabad.
Developed blocks include Oleander, Lily, Daffodils, Bluebell and Magnolia. More developing blocks include Rose and Bogenvilla.
