DHA Announces 10,000 Plots Possessions in DHA Valley & DHA Phase 6 Islamabad

DHA Phase 6 and 7 Possession Announcement

Keeping the promise of delivering all stalled projects, DHA Islamabad has finally handed over possession of nearly 10,000 plots, including residential and commercial, to the allottees of DHA Phase 6 (formerly Phase 2 Extension) and DHA Phase 7 (formerly DHA Valley). The possession ceremony was held on January 30, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Blue Bell Sector of DHA Phase 7, Islamabad.

Below is a breakdown of the number of plots that received possession in each sector of DHA Phase 6 and DHA Phase 7:

DHA Phase 6 Sectors:

  • Sector B-3: 277 residential and commercial plots
  • Sector C-2: 141 residential and 20 commercial plots
  • Sector C-3 Extension: 774 residential plots and 121 commercial plots

DHA Phase 7 (DHA Valley) Sectors:

  • Bougainvillea: 2,091 residential plots and 626 commercial plots
  • Oleander: 425 residential plots and 41 commercial plots
  • Lily: 339 residential plots and 100 commercial plots
  • Rose: 498 residential plots and 297 commercial plots
  • Bluebell: 2,200 residential plots and 350 commercial plots
  • Daffodils: 986 residential plots and 21 commercial plots

DHA has not published the list of newly possessionable plots; however, members with re-balloted plots in the developed areas of these sectors can contact DHA to inquire about their plot status, pay possession charges, and obtain physical possession of their plots.

DHA has also hinted at another grand ballot for the remaining non-balloted files of DHA Valley in the next couple of weeks, which will include all remaining transferable files. This announcement is expected to boost the market prices of non-balloted files in DHA Valley as demand is likely to surge. The final ballot date will be announced soon, and it will include all transferable residential and commercial plots, as well as shops.

Regarding open files, DHA has clarified that they cannot be included in the ballot as they must first be transferred to an individual’s name to qualify for plot allotment. Therefore, those holding open files for residential or commercial plots must transfer them to their names to participate in the next final ballot.

DHA has also encouraged members who have received possession of their plots to start constructing their homes. DHA will facilitate them at every step and provide building materials at their doorsteps at subsidized rates.
