CDA Plans Overseas Enclave in Islamabad

CDA is planning a new project to boost investments from overseas Pakistanis. Recently, the authority announced a new project in Islamabad by the name of CDA Overseas Enclave and has started preparations for the development. Also, Capital Development Authority has also announced to abandon the ongoing Gandhara project and divert the focus to CDA Overseas Enclave.

According to officials of CDA, this upcoming apartment project will increase the revenue of the agency, as it will be targeted at the overseas community. Coming Friday, a meeting will be held, where the planning wing will give a briefing on the project.

Location of CDA Overseas Enclave

According to the initial details shared by the officials of CDA, this high-rise project will be developed at the intersection of Grand Trunk (G.T) Road and Margalla Avenue Islamabad. The location is highly-accessible, as it will be close to Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Furthermore, it lies in Zone 2 of Islamabad according to CDA.

Total Land Area

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has acquired around 200 Kanal of land for the development of Overseas Enclave. 100 Kanal is reserved for greenery, whereas, 100 Kanal will be used for the construction of apartment buildings and other things.

A senior officer from CDA said that the project will be a huge success due to the location, affordability, and modern features. A total of 9 blocks will be developed in Overseas Enclave, each apartment complex will sprawl over 5 Kanal. Furthermore, plots have been specified for a hospital and school within the enclave. CDA will put out a tender for the development of Overseas Enclave, and a successful bidder will get the contract, and develop an apartment complex, commercial spaces, school, and hospital.

This new mega project of Islamabad will be announced soon by Capital Development Authority and booking will be available via the civic agency.
