QDA City Takatoo a new housing project in Quetta sponsored by Balochistan Government. The housing scheme offers residential plots of different sizes i.e. 200 SQY, 300 SQY, 400 SQY and 600 SQY to general public.
As per the advertisements, it is the biggest housing project in Quetta by QDA after the success of satellite town, samungli housing, chaman housing, chaltan town and zarghoon housing scheme.
It is a low cost housing project which offers residential plots on 5 years payment plan. Just 10% amount will be charged as down payment after allotment through computerized ballot, while remaining amount will be payable in 5 years through quarterly installments.
There is no exact information available as to the prices of plots, however QDA has announced price per sqft for residential plots i.e. PKR 800 per sqft. So, you can simply calculate the total price by multiplying the given plot sizes by PKR 800 to get total price of plot.

200 SQY Plot will cost 14,40,000
300 SQY Plot will cost 21,60,000
400 SQY Plot will cost 28,80,000
600 SQY Plot will cost 43,20,000

Local newspapers claim that there are thousands of people rushing towards the nominated branches of MCB bank in Quetta to obtain the form. First 500 forms will be given plots without balloting, while remaining applications will be included in the ballot for allotment. This offer seems dubious, as those first 500 forms might already have been submitted considering the level of transparency in our institutions.
