Previously, New Metro City Gujar Khan faced some allegations and was marked as an illegal housing society by Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA). However, management acted fast, completed the required documentation within days, and submitted the application for Preliminary Planning Permission and NOC to the authority. The application was submitted by BSM Developers on 14 June 2022 and today, New Metro City Gujar Khan/Rawalpindi NOC is officially granted by RDA.
New Metro City Gujar Khan/Rawalpindi NOC is now approved by RDA under the approval number: RDA |F-PHS-GRK-06/738.
With the approval of Preliminary Planning Permission PP-1 and NOC from RDA, the society has officially begun the development work in Sector 1. Management of New Metro City has promised to give possessions of Block A in a time of 5 to 6 months after Early Bird Balloting that will be held on 20th August. Moreover, the New Metro City Islamabad/Rawalpindi office is also operational, it is located in Sector A, Commercial Al-Nahyan Street, DHA Phase 2, Islamabad.
