Malir Development Authority has announced a new low cost housing project on northern bypass which seems to be an attractive opportunity for the lower middle and lower income strata of Karachi. The new scheme offers different sizes of residential plots for as low as PKR 1000 per square yard. The booking, however, is subject to success in computerized ballot that will be held after the applications are received and processed.

Taiser Town Scheme 45 is located near Fazaia Housing Scheme Phase 1 on Northen Bypass. It is a developing scheme where a large number of housing projects are already developing including Motor City Karachi. The government is planning to establish whole sale markets in the neighborhood in order to facilitate residents of this area.

Taiser Town Scheme 45 is offering 80 sq.yards, 120 sq. yards, 240 sq.yards and 400 sq.yards residential plots to general public through open ballot of applications. Application forms are available at all nationwide branches of Silk Bank, and online at Taiser Town’s and MDA’s official websites, so you can simply fill in your details and download soft copy of your form.

After you download or obtain application form, you can fill in necessary details and submit the form at any branch of Silk Bank across the Country along with down payment and processing fee. The down payment is refundable in case of failure in the ballot, however processing fee is non-refundable. Refund amount can be received from the same branch of Silk Bank where you submitted the form.

As you can see on the payment plan, the booking amount is payable at the time of application. Processing fee for 80 sq.yards and 120 sq.yards is PKR 1000, while 240 sq.yards and 400 sq.yards plots incur PKR 2000 processing fee.
After you are successful in the ballot, you will need to pay confirmation charges within a month, and allocation charges within 2 months from the ballot. Remaining amount is payable in 3 years through easy monthly or quarterly installments.
It is important to mention here that the given prices include the cost of land only, whereas development and utility charges will be applied at a later stage of development.
