Malir Development Authority (MDA) has finally announced the most awaited balloting date of its project “Taiser Town Scheme 45” in Karachi. A total of 170,000 applications were received from across Pakistan to book plots in the subject housing scheme till 15th of April 2019, however only 20,000 plots will be given through computerized ballot.
Taiser Town Scheme 45 is planned over an area of 9,512 acres of land, and different categories of residential plots have been planned in the housing scheme including 80 sqy, 120 sqy, 240 sqy and 400 sqy. Those who come out successful in the ballot, they will pay the development charges at the following rate:
- PKR 1000/SQY for 80 SQY Plots
- PKR 1500/SQY for 120 SQY Plots
- PKR 1800/SQY for 240 SQY Plots
- PKR 2000/SQY for 400 SQY Plots
The balloting ceremony will be held at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi on Friday, 19th of July, 2019. The ballot was scheduled to be held by the end of June, but it was delayed due to budget sessions.
