LDA to Conduct Balloting of Plots in LDA City Lahore in February 2018
Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has published a notice for general public regarding the balloting of LDA City Lahore Project. The project was launched in 2014 by LDA through its development partners, and since then it has gone through many ups and downs.
According to the notice, LDA has decided to allot plot numbers to the files of LDA City Lahore through computerized balloting in February 2018. LDA will announce the exact balloting date within a few days. There are total 5987 files of LDA City Lahore that will be balloted. The balloting will be held at LDA Office in Johar Town, Lahore. Development partners and several file holders will also be invited to participate in the balloting event, and their allotment letters will be handed over to them after the balloting.
The balloting is being conducted in order to dispel public concerns on the authenticity of the biggest housing project spread over 58800 kanals of land in Lahore. Plot owners will be able to mark their plots on LDA City map after the balloting.
Only those files will be allotted plot numbers whose exemption letters have been issued by LDA. All those owners who have not received their exemption letters yet, they are advised to contact their development partner and get their letters issued in order to be included in the ballot. Files with short installments will not be included in the balloting.
LDA keeps online record of all the files in LDA City Lahore at http://lda.gop.pk, so buyers can get their files verified by following the procedure given on the website. If some file holder doesn’t find their file record in the data available at LDA’s website, they can contact LDA by 31st December 2017 with their file in order to resolve the issue. LDA will not receive any such complaints after the given date.
The development partners of LDA are still selling files at very reasonable prices, so you can avail this opportunity to buy a valid file from an authorized partner and get plot number in the upcoming ballot in February 2018.
