Islamabad To Have Two New Universities and A Cricket Stadium

Capital Development Authority (CDA) has given a go-ahead for the construction of a Cricket Stadium and two new universities in Islamabad. This step is being taken to support education and sports activities alike.

Land for universities has allocated by CDA in the last meeting and one of the universities is for special education. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman, Amer Ali Ahmad.

Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) University is the other institute that is being approved by CDA. These new institutes will increase the scope of education and the construction work will start soon.

The National University of Special Education was becoming the need of the Federal City and CDA is taking the step in the right direction that is helping the physically challenged persons. Similarly, special attention is being given to sports activities in the city.

Previously, there was no full-scale cricket stadium in the city and a 5-star hotel near the cricket stadium for international players is also in plans. This was announced by Sheikh Rasheed, Federal Minister while looking at the security arrangements at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The cricket stadium is planned in the Federal Capital of Pakistan by the Prime Minister himself. The arrangements for international matches in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium are difficult to manage with huge.

The new cricket stadium will resolve all the problems of security for the international teams as the 5-star hotel will be constructed along with it. The residents of Islamabad will be excited to see this stadium completion and completely functional bringing cricket to the Capital.
