Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) has recently published an advertisement in the interest of general public to warn them against excessive property frauds in Gwadar by some fraudulent developers who are looting money from public without having enough land for development, neither have approved layout and noc to start development.
GDA has noticed that there are numerous developers who have been advertising extremely misleading information for their projects in order to trap general investors,therefore GDA is reaching out to general public warning them of possible frauds in such property purchases.
GDA has been continuously advertising about the illegal status of several housing schemes which had been advertising their projects in Gwadar. Additionally GDA has established a complain registration cell and an active information desk which can be useful for general property investors who are thinking to invest their hard-earned money in residential or commercial plots in Gwadar.
GDA has laid out following guidelines for general public to follow in order to avoid possible frauds:
1- Check NOC status of the housing scheme/project in which you are buying a plot of land or have already purchased one. Visit GDA's website www.gda.gov.pk to find NOC information of all housing schemes operating in Gwadar. Alternatively, you can contact GDA information desk at (086)-9201018 or email at info@gda.gov.pk to get required information.
2- Ask developer for sale and advertisement NOC issued by GDA and get it verified from GDA informtion desk.
3- Ask developer for detailed layout plan of the scheme that should be approved from director town planning, Gwadar.
4- After you purchase any property in Gwadar, do register it at the Complaint Registration Cell established by GDA.
