FGEHA to Revise Layout Plan (LOP) of Margalla Orchards Housing Scheme Islamabad

Federal Governement Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has put out a public notice regarding revision of the layout plan of erstwhile Park Road Housing Scheme that has recently been rebranded after joining of DHA as Margalla Orchards Islamabad.

As the scheme was facing delays due to severe issues in the acquisition of land from the locals, DHA has played a major role in land matters while settling disputes with local landowners.

The revised LOP may be entirely different from the one we see today as DHA is going to be involved in the designing process. The revised plan will likely include a proper master-planned housing development with dedicated commercial & amenity areas.

Moreover, as DHA operates both in Margalla Enclave and Margalla Orchards, and they plan to connect both schemes by expanding their respective boundaries through land acquisition, this revised plan may also reveal that connectivity between the two schemes.

This is a major development for the existing owners of plots in Margalla Orchards Islamabad & presents a highly lucrative investment opportunity for new buyers as things are going to take shape after a long pause while developments on ground are already underway by DHA.

It is important to mention here that you can buy residential plots in certain block of Margalla Orchards with land cost paid only, while development charges will be applied later by DHA. New bookings of residential and commercial plots will be announced at a later stage at much higher prices, so existing owners & buyers can expect much higher returns on investment in next couple of years over the course of developments.
