FGEHA to Abort Thalian Housing Scheme Islamabad

FGEHA Thalian Housing Scheme Islamabad

Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHA) has decided to abort its Thalian Housing project on Motorway M-2, Islamabad. The decision was taken in a meeting of the executive board of FGEHA presided by Minister for housing Mr. Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema.

Thalian Housing Project was a joint venture between FGEHA and a private developer, wherein private developer was responsible for land acquisition and development, while FGEHA was the governing body. Despite collecting billions of rupees from Federal Government Employees, FGEHA couldn’t acquire land for the scheme. Hence, the project is abandoned.

Existing allottees of Thalian Housing Project need not worry about their investment, as they will be given alternate plots in other housing projects of FGEHA like the upcoming schemes in Sector F-12 and G12 or Bara Kahu Housing Scheme.
