Ferozepur City Housing Scheme was recently launched for booking in Lahore, and it was being advertised for booking in the real estate market, print and electronic media by developers/sponsors and real estate agents without having acquired proper NOC from Lahore Development Authority (LDA).

As per the recent notice issued in the newspapers by LDA, the subject housing scheme has not acquired NOC from LDA, therefore it is illegal. Moreover, the location specified for the project exists on agricultural land which cannot be used for residential and commercial purposes.
Therefore, LDA has warned general public to stay away from booking in Ferozepur City Housing Scheme Lahore until the society acquires NOC from LDA. The sponsors of the housing scheme are also warned to stop advertising this illegal project, otherwise LDA can take legal action against them.
LDA has also advised general public to check legal status, masterplan and NOC of any housing scheme before purchasing property in any housing scheme in order to avoid possible fraud.
