Federal Board of Revenue has finalized the property valuation rates in all major cities of Pakistan for the fiscal year 2019-2020. This is an important factor which directly affects real estate activities, as these official prices are used for tax purposes.
FBR had proposed major changes in property valuation rates in 18 major cities in June 2019 in order to bring estimated values closer to the actual market value of properties. However, after thorough discussions with real estate experts across the Country, FBR has finalized the property valuation rates of all major cities in Pakistan, and these rates are applicable from July 2019.
