DC Rawalpindi Seeks Cancellation of NOCs Regarding Blue World City & Royal Farm Houses

DC Rawalpindi Notice Blue World City

District Council Rawalpindi has taken notice of the media campaign run by Blue World City and Royal Farm Houses & Residencia on social media claiming approval of NOCs from DC office to continue development of their housing schemes. DC office has rejected such claims and explained the purpose of their letters issues to Rawalpindi Development Authority which are being used to claim NOC approval by subject housing schemes.

According to DC Rawalpindi, the NOC letters were not issued in the names of private developers but to the name of Rawalpindi Development Authority to proceed further on the NOC applications in accordance with the Punjab Private Housing Schemes & Land Sub Division Rules-2010 as amended 2013.

The media campaigns started in the 2nd half of December 2021, right after the Government of Punjab decided that new housing schemes which fall in different tehsils of Rawalpindi will not be administered by RDA but relevant tehsil offices. Following this decision, Blue World City started floating the issued by District Council Rawalpindi to Rawalpindi Development Authority in 2018 regarding approval of NOC and claiming that it had received NOC from DC Rawalpindi.

District Office Rawalpindi has asked Rawalpindi Development Authority to issue show cause notices to the subject housing schemes which are misleading general public by using letters issued by DC Office. If the matter is not taken up by RDA, DC office will withdraw NOC’s from RDA in the best public interest.
