CDA to Onboard Private Firm for Kurri Enclave Housing Scheme

Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced to collaborate with a development firm or form a consortium of development firms for the development of the Kurri Enclave Housing Scheme in Islamabad. Kurri Enclave is a housing project planned by CDA, which was approved by the CDA Board, back in April 2023.

This housing project is designed specifically for Overseas Pakistanis so that they can get investment and living opportunities in the federal capital. The housing project will be developed in Zone 4; the land for the Kurri Enclave Housing Scheme is already acquired by CDA. Furthermore, it is a mixed-use housing society comprising residents and commercial plots equipped with all basic and modern amenities.

As per the details revealed by the officials of CDA, the Kurri Enclave Housing Scheme spans over 10,000 Kanal of Land in Kurri Village Islamabad. The land is acquired by the authority, however, billions are required to conduct the development of Kurri Enclave.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to develop Kurri Enclave as a joint venture with a leading real estate developer, with a proven record of accomplishment. The reason behind this is that CDA does not have the resources to develop a complete housing project on its own. Therefore, onboarding a prominent developer will not only increase the development speed but also maintain the development standards.

For this purpose, CDA has published a notification demanding the Expression of Interest (EOI) from credible and esteemed developers operating in the private sector. The selected firm(s) will collaborate with CDA for the development of the Kurri Enclave Housing Scheme.
