Capital Development Authority has approved PC-1 for development of the stalled sector I-12 Islamabad. The decision was taken in 46th annual convention of CDA’s Development Working Party. The PC-1 is worth 8214 million rupees and it includes complete infrastructure development of this sector including electrical and mechanical works, provision of civic amenities and other services.
There are total 6400 affectees of Sector I-12 Islamabad who have been waiting for more than a decade to get possession of their plots, but unfortunately development work never started. CDA will use its own budget to complete the development work, so you can expect some progress on actual development work this year.

CDA DW has also approved PC-1 worth PKR 223.491 million for fixing barbed wire fence, boundary pillars and warning boards in stalled sectors, i.e. C-14, C-15, C-16, H-16, I-17, I-12 and E-12.
The revised layout map of Sector I-12 was approved in October 2019 due to some requisite changes in the old plan. CDA has resolved all pending issues restraining development in this sector, so now we can expect some good news for the affectees.
