PC-1 of Margalla Highway Extension Approved by CDA

Capital Development Authority (CDA) held an important meeting to review the PC-1 of the Margalla Highway Extension. CDA has formally approved the PC-1 of the Margalla Highway Extension. The meeting was held in mid-April, and it was chaired by the chairman of CDA, Noor-ul-Amin Mengal.

The extension of Margalla Highway was a matter of great importance for the Capital Development Authority, and it has been addressed by the agency, and development work will follow shortly, as the consultancy firm has also been finalized by CDA.

The approval of PC-1 of Margalla Highway Extension was approved by the Development Working Party, a subsidiary of CDA after careful and detailed analysis. This project will improve the flow of traffic and accessibility to different areas of the Federal Capital. Margalla Highway will be extended from N-5 to M-1 Motorway.

Numerous other development projects were also approved by CDA during this meeting. The following projects were also approved by the Capital Development Authority (CDA):

• The PC-1 of Lehtrar Road from Khanna Pull to PINSTECH was also approved in this meeting.
• Furthermore, Kuri Enclave’s PC-2 for onboarding a consultant has also been approved by CDA.
• In addition to this, the PC-2 for hiring a consultancy for road audit in Islamabad was also approved by the chairman.
• Similarly, The PC-2 of finalizing the consultants for the Orchards Heights project is also formally approved by the CDA board.
• That’s not all; PC-1 of the newly initiated Capital Street project in Islamabad was also approved by CDA-DWP in this meeting.
• Finally, the board also approved different small-scale projects, such as the computerized underpass lighting, overhead bridges, buildings, and monument across Islamabad.

This meeting proved to be very beneficial for the federal capital, as multiple development projects were approved by the CDA Development Working Party. Chairman CDA, Noor-ul-Amin Mengal emphasized the timely completion of these projects by the use of the finest resources.
