The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced that it will hold balloting of plots in Sector D-13 Islamabad next month. The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by CDA Chairman, Noor-ul-Amin Mengal.

The meeting was attended by CDA Board Members and senior officials. The chairman directed the relevant departments to ensure that all necessary arrangements are made for the balloting process.

Sector D-13 is located near the New Islamabad International Airport and is one of the most sought-after sectors in the federal capital. The CDA acquired the land for the sector in 1989 and planned to develop it in phases. The balloting will be held with the help of NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority).

The development work in the sector had been stalled for many years due to various issues, including legal disputes over land acquisition. However, the CDA has now resolved most of these issues and is ready to start the development work in the sector.

The CDA has already invited expressions of interest (EOI) from interested parties for the development of the sector. The EOI was issued in February this year and the deadline for submission of proposals was March 22.

The CDA has said that it will award the development contract to the party that meets all the necessary criteria and offers the best terms and conditions. It is also important to mention that CDA will not include any land that falls under community areas reserved by the Islamabad Revenue Department.

Sector D-13 is expected to be a major commercial hub in the future, with several high-rise buildings and commercial centers planned for the area. The CDA has said that it will ensure that all necessary infrastructures are in place before the development work starts.

The balloting of plots in Sector D-13 is expected to be completed by the end of next month. The CDA has urged all interested parties to ensure that they have submitted all necessary documents and payments before the deadline.

CDA’s decision to hold balloting for plot allotments in Sector D-13 Islamabad next month is a significant development for the real estate sector in the federal capital. Sector D-13 is expected to be a major commercial hub in the future, and the balloting process is likely to generate a lot of interest from investors and homebuyers.
