CDA to Investigate Fake Allotment of Plots in the CDA-Sector D-13/2
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is taking strict measures to investigate the fake allotment of plots in the CDA-sector D-13/2. The committee is only given a 10-day notice to submit their report on the matter after investigating the issue thoroughly.
This matter came to light when the Director Security CDA reported the fake allotment of plots in the CDA-sector D-13/2. CDA has called upon a formal inquiry on the matter and all the officials involved in this case will be brought to the testimony.
Ms. Sobia Toru who previously served as the Additional Director CDA and currently serving as DC CDA identified two plots being allotted with her fake signature a few months ago. After only digging for some time, 7 other plots came to light that was allotted with fake signatures.
Previously, fake claims had also been settled by the CDA for the people who never owned any land in Shah Allah Ditta. This issue has been highlighted by the authority before and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) also took notice of the 2 plots mentioned earlier.
Deputy Director General Estate Afnan Alam is going to lead this investigation going forward and he is more than capable of carrying out this investigation. Deputy Director Human Resource Department (HRD) Mian Usmanud Din is going to be part of the investigation as well.
The report will be submitted in the next 10 days and the investigation will be conducted without any bias under the leadership of Mr. Afnan. All the officials from within the authority will also be identified and strict action will be taken against the culprits including cancellation of allotment letters.
