Bahria Town to Fund Sindh Government for 54KM Expressway in Karachi

Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz announced his plan to build a 54-KM expressway in Karachi. This is same like a metro bus project which is being sponsored by Bahria Town to address the transport issues of Karachi, the most populated and largest city of Pakistan.

The project will be executed by the Sindh Government in 11 months time, and bahria town will lend 42 billion rupees for this project with a repayment period of 15 years.

The expressway will cater to a quarter million people of Karachi. An agreement to procure 150 public transport buses to be used on the expressway has also been reached with a private company.
