Rawalpindi Development Authority has declared a housing scheme “Waddia Homes” as illegal and sent a notice to the sponsors to stop advertisement of this project immediately.
Waddia homes is a gated community located right opposite to Askari 14 main gate on Caltex Road, New Lalazar, Rawalpindi. The project offered limited plots of 4 marla, 5 marla, 6 marla and 7 marla through an advertisement in local newspapers.
Rawalpindi Development Authority has also initiated legal action against Waddia Homes under relevant sections of Punjab Private Housing Schemes and Land Subdivision Rules 2010.
The authority has advised general public not to invest in any housing scheme that is not approved from relevant housing authority, otherwise they will be responsible for their loss themselves.
