Capital Development Authority has published an updated list of illegal housing schemes in Islamabad Zone 2, 3, 4 and 5 as well as in sector E-11 where these housing schemes are operating without acquiring formal approval and NOC from CDA.
There are dozens of housing schemes operating illegally across all zones of Islamabad, however CDA has been toothless so far due to corruption, political influences and lack of will. The only action that is taken by CDA is to publish a notice for general awareness of public, but that doesn’t make much difference. Ghori Town is a flagrant example of such illegal housing schemes which is fully populated now and CDA has no option but to keep listing it as an illegal project.
CDA has further mentioned that Faisal Town, Graceland Housing Scheme, Rawat Enclave, Muhafiz Gardens and Airline Avenue Housing Scheme are misusing the name of Islamabad for advertising their projects, in fact these projects do not lie in the capital territory and they have not obtained NOCs from CDA.
It is further exhorted to general public that they should check legal status of any housing scheme they want to invest in so that they can avoid possible legal complications and frauds. Details on each housing scheme which lie in the capital territory can be acquired from CDA.
The list of illegal housing schemes including small towns and agro farm housing schemes is categorized according to zones, so we will list them accordingly.

Here the list ends, and CDA makes humble request to the sponsors/owners of the above listed housing schemes to submit their documents in order to obtain NOC from the authority, otherwise legal action may be taken against them. Moreover, general public is warned in their own interest to refrain from any sale purchase activity in the above listed housing schemes.
If CDA had power to enforce its rules and regulations, there wouldn’t be so many illegal towns, housing schemes and farm housing projects across Islamabad. But we never know what happens in future, and it is possible that CDA gets strength some day and takes action against these illegal housing schemes. So the sword is dangling all the time until these schemes get under the fold of CDA through proper documentation.

Eden Life is not illegal. They have proper NOC. Internet is not updated and silly information may mislead public.

proof is given on cda’s website http://cda.gov.pk. Current list published in October 2015 also includes Eden LIfe in illegal housing schemes of Zone 4 Islamabad.

Ghori Town all phases are illegal. There is everything available but they do not have NOC and CDA has already started action against them.
Where were the responsible officers of DCA at the time of launching these housing societies / townships? The concerned officers of Federal Government and CDA must be punished for these illegal housing societies / towns. They must be hanged and heavy penalty must be imposed upon then.

How these housing societies are illegal, all the construction works in the day light since ten years ago. All the competent authorities including CDA is aware about societies. More than 60 % population facilitated by Wapda and Sui Gas Dept. The remaining 40% are suffering for such facilities. Is this a Justice? CDA needs to stop these societies in extreme initial stage.
