Silver City Housing Scheme Rawalpindi, a prominent real estate project, has announced a revision in its development charges, citing increased expenses due to inflation and rising construction costs over the past few years.
In a notification issued on November 29, 2024, the management explained that while they have absorbed the rising costs for years to support customers, the escalating expenses now necessitate an increase in development charges.
Starting from January 1, 2025, all plot owners will be required to pay development charges of PKR 175,000 per marla. However, as part of a customer-friendly initiative, the company has offered a discounted rate of PKR 125,000 per marla for those who clear their dues by December 31, 2024.
The management emphasized that these adjustments are crucial to maintaining the quality standards of the project and ensuring timely completion of ongoing development works.
Silver City urged plot owners to take advantage of the discounted rate and settle their outstanding payments before the deadline.
