According to the latest updates, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a Turkish firm on the Rawalpindi Ring Road project. This MoU was signed on June 9, 2023, and the firm will provide consultancy services with a focus on choosing the best route for Ring Road.
Botek Bogazici Musavirlik Anonim Sirketi is the name of the Turkish firm it is a widely famous consultancy for infrastructural projects all over the Asian continent. As per the information shared by RDA officials, the MoU signing ceremony was held at the Commissioner’s office and it was attended by various important personalities of both sides. Commissioner Rawalpindi chaired the ceremony whereas RDA Director General Saif Anwar Jhappa. Chief Engineer Habib Ul Haq, personalities from Planning and Development Board, the provincial government, and related organizations were present at this ceremony.
Botek Corp will provide services related to choosing the best possible route for Ring Road. At this ceremony, the RDA Director and Commissioner emphasized the importance, early delivery, and benefits of the Rawalpindi Ring Road project.
This is another major step in the development of Ring Road, it is important to mention here that, RDA has finalized the Ring Road route various times in the past, but couldn’t initiate the development.
The consultancy services provided by the Turkish firm will help the RDA in choosing the best route for the Ring Road and making informed decisions about the project.
