RDA issued notices to 4 housing projects

In the latest news, RDA issued notices to 4 housing projects operating in Rawalpindi City. Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has already expedited the operations against encroachments and illegal housing projects operating in different areas of the cities. At the direction of the Director General, Mr. Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, the authority has identified different housing projects as illegal and RDA issued notices to 4 housing projects.

Furthermore, RDA has also warned the sponsors, sales partners, and affiliated marketing agencies to stop the marketing of these projects at once. Otherwise, legal actions will be taken against such firms and personnel. As per the RDA spokesperson, no housing project can market their product until and unless they have successfully attained a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Rawalpindi Development Authority. No housing society is considered legal until it has been granted a NOC. It has come to the notice of RDA, that several housing projects start to market before submitting any documents to the civic agencies.

RDA issued notices to 4 housing projects that are mentioned below:

  • Al-Buraq Enclave Rawat
  • Century Town Housing Scheme
  • Pak Sar Zameen Town
  • Rawat City Housing Scheme

RDA has already put some allegations against two of the above-mentioned housing projects named Century Town and Pak Sar Zameen Town, still, they have been involved in running campaigns through social media and misguiding the general public.

The Director General of RDA also directed the authority to take strict actions against the marketing and advertisement campaigns and those who are involved in these actions. As per the DG’s directions, FIRs will be lodged against the owners of illegal projects as well as people related to them.

Furthermore, RDA has advised the general public to stay away from such projects and do proper research before investing money into any housing project.
