The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Islamabad launched an innovative and unique service for land verification. Recently, Property Verification Centre (PVC) is introduced in Islamabad that is accessible at the facilitation center in the DC office.

Ghouri Town Islamabad is amongst the top scams in recent history for the Federal Capital. Besides the warning of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) people went ahead and invested here.
Although, multiple housing societies are technically located outside the city. But still, the developers convince people of these projects within the city.
As of now, there is a lot of chaos in the city because of different land mafias that have the sole purpose of scamming people. Therefore, the first-ever PVC was unveiled to the public to ensure that investments stay safe.
Furthermore, DC Islamabad encourages people to invest in safe land in Islamabad. Additionally, the verification center will help ensure the safety of land for people who can’t visit it personally.
PVC comprises state-of-the-art technology, and it is free for the citizens. It is a big step by the DC office for the welfare of the people so that they do not fall for these land mafias.
All the illegal societies are being sent with legal notices from the DC office. DC announced strict punishments for the people who have scammed people into illegal residential projects.
Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqat is taking care of the entire process personally. According to him, a person should invest their hard-earned money in a safe location verified from Property Verification Center.
According to reports, the administration freed 20,000 Kanals from different land mafias in Islamabad. This land alone is worth billions of rupees, and there is still some land left to retrieve.
