Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) has their housing project “OPF Valley” located on Japan Road in Zone 5, Islamabad. The project was launched in 2009, and majority of overseas Pakistanis booked plots in OPF Valley. All payments have been paid by the allottees but development work has been very slow on the project.
As per the recent news published in Dunya News, a meeting was held in OPF head office presided by chairman sub committee housing board of governors Mr. Jahangir Minhas. Managing Director OPF Mr. Habib Ur Rehman Gillani and Director General Housing and Works were also present in the meeting.
Mr. Jahangir Minhas claimed in the meeting that all owners of plots in OPF housing scheme zone 5 will be handed over possession of their plots by December 2017.
