Arain City Housing Scheme has been there on the map of housing schemes near new Islamabad Airport for past many years, but it never materialized to a housing scheme on ground. We have limited knowledge about the history of this housing scheme, but the fact remains that it is one of the many housing scams where general public purchased worthless files without any physical possession of land.
The society has recently published a notice in the local newspapers addressing the affectees of Arain City. The notice reads the following:
All the affectees of Arain City near New Islamabad Airport are informed that Arain Society (Regd.) Islamabad is going through final negotiations with Al-Rai Developers (sponsors of Arain City) regarding dues, claims or land acquisition of the housing society.
The affectees of Arain City are hereby advised to contact Arain Society Islamabad at this stage before 25th of March, 2019, so that this long standing issue can be resolved. After the given deadline, Arain Society will not be responsible morally or legally in this regard.
