NHA to Construct 17th Avenue Interchange for Sectors G -17 & G-16
National Highway Authority (NHA) recently announced to development of the 17th Avenue interchange near Sector H-16 of Islamabad. It is exciting news for the investors, end-users, and members of Sector G-16 (Ministry of Interior Housing Society) and G-17 (Supreme Court Employees Cooperative Housing Society).
In addition to the above-mentioned sectors, the interchange will also benefit the sectors H-17 and provide alternate routes to the sectors I-15 and I-16. This interchange is planned on 17th Avenue in Islamabad. It will be on the link road from Grand Trunk (GT) Road and Motorway.
An official of the National Highway Authority told the APP on 8th May 2022 about the construction of this interchange in Islamabad. He further stated that the construction of the 17th Avenue interchange will be done on the link Road from N-5 to M-1 and M-2 Motorway interchange.

This project is related to the Ministry of Interior so NHA will continue the work on a deposit work basis. The official of NHA further stated that construction time will be announced after feasibility calculation. Moreover, the detailed design and availability of financial resources will also be announced later.
Sector G-16 (Ministry of Interior Housing Society) and G-17 (Supreme Court Employees Cooperative Housing Society) will be primarily benefitted from this interchange as it will improve the traffic flow and provide an alternative route. This will result in increased attention of investors and a visible incline in the market prices.
