National Assembly Directs Authorities to Solve Issues of OPF Housing Scheme Islamabad
News: According to the latest news, the issues of OPF Valley Zone-5 were presented in the National Assembly of Pakistan. After careful analysis, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly has directed the administrative authorities to solve all the issues of OPF Housing Scheme Islamabad and continue the development as numerous overseas Pakistani have invested here.
OPF Valley is a modern and beautiful housing scheme designed according to the requirements of overseas communities. This project is aimed to provide an international standard lifestyle in Pakistan where overseas Pakistani can invest and live. It is ideally located in ICT Zone-5 Islamabad. Generally, the society is overall developed and plots are ready for possession, and home development can be started. But due to different unresolved matters, further, development is halted in the OPF Valley housing scheme.
A meeting was held at the National Assembly chaired by the sub-committee in the OPF committee room to discuss the matters that are causing delays in the provision of housing to owners. The sub-committee presented a briefing to concerned individuals on the current issues of OPF Valley. They suggested that the senior officials should also take help from the concerned departments to find solutions to problems. Moreover, raising the fee of OPF Valley was also a topic under discussion in this meeting.
The officials of FWO (Frontier Works Organization) stated the main issue faced by the developers is a shortage of funds, which results in delays in the development. He also told that only 50% of the approved funds are released to date and they have been utilized in carrying out different developments in society. Moreover, he suggested that the delay in the provision of funds is resulting in the rise of development costs and concerned authorities should release development funds as soon as possible so the work can be continued.
