National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has seized bank accounts of University Town Islamabad and further investigation has been launched against the society. The action was taken following multiple complaints received against the soceity for not giving possessions despite announcing it, not developing land and violation of LOP.
NAB has frozen the official bank account of the society having approx amount of 100 million rupees, and further investigation on the matter is in progress. Further action is expected against the society management, which may entail some arrest of top management.
