Motorway City Housing Scheme has published a notice through its legal advisor regarding imposition of revised development charges on old defaulting members. The society is starting development work again after a long pause, especially after launch of its Executive Block.
According to the notice, all those regular members who booked plots in Motorway City by 2005 but did not pay their development charges are informed that new rate of development charges is 45,000/- per marla, which is valid till 30th of October 2019. Moreover, all those members who booked plots after November 2007 will be charged development charges at the rate of 60,000/- per marla.
It is important to note that all such members who started paying their development charges according to old rates but didn’t pay according to the given 2 years installment plan will also be charged additional development charges as per revised rates.
After completion of development charges, the society will levy utility charges against installation of water, electricity, gas connections and other utility expenses.
Moreover, all such files which had more than 6 installments unpaid have been canceled.
