Construction work on New Islamabad International Airport link roads from Thallian Interchange as well as from Kashmir Highway is going on at full swing. Since this new airport is going to be operational from 14th August 2017, authorities are trying hard to complete the leftover construction work within given date in order to avoid any further delays.
Habib Constructions Pvt. Ltd. is the company reponsible for construction work of link road from Thallian Interchange to New islamabad Airport. About 90% construction work has been completed already, and it should be open for traffice by next one or two months.
