FWO to Complete Rawal Dam Interchange Ahead of Given Time
According to the FWO officials, they will complete the development of the Rawal Dam Interchange ahead of the given time. FWO is currently working on the Rawal Dam Interchange project and the officials said that the work will be finished one month before the given deadline. The committed delivery time of the project was October 2022. However, now, the project will be delivered one month early.
According to the member Engineer of the Capital Development Authority, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged CDA to complete this project by September 2022. He further stated that the Rawal Dam Interchange Project was granted to Calson and Maqbool Associates in June 2020 as a joint venture. However, the work was halted due to the price hike.
Later on, the project was awarded to FWO on the condition of completing this project without any additional costs. FWO agreed and is currently working on the project and aims to deliver it by September 2022. The project comprises an underpass, one overhead bridge, a few slip roads, and one underpass connecting to Margalla Town.
