FGEHA Islamabad Launches Anti Encroachment Drive in Sector G-12 & G-15
The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) of Islamabad has launched an anti-encroachment drive in 2 major sectors of Islamabad to recover land government land. A major operation was launched against the illegal encroachments in Sector G-12 and G-25, specifically, in the Sector G-12 Mauve Area and green belts of Sector G-15 Islamabad.
According to the spokesperson of FGEHA, the authority with cooperation from Islamabad Police, Deputy Commissioner Anti Encroachment Wing and ICT Administration carried out this operation. The objective of this drive is to recover the illegal and unauthorized constructions in both of these sectors. The structures were also demolished during this encroachment operation.
The authority aims to take action against encroachments and continue the operation to recover land being used illegally. FGEHA plans to extend this operation to different sectors of the Federal Capital and ensure the sanctity of Islamabad’s Zones.
Furthermore, the spokesperson of FGEHA stated that the authority holds the right to carry out operations against such encroachments at any time and take action against the people involved in these illegal acts. This operation is likely to continue to save the residential, commercial, and green areas of the capital city!
