FGEHA Addresses the Delay Issue of Plots Allotment in Islamabad

News: The National Assembly Standing Committee has advised the Federal Government Housing Authority to resolve all the allotment issues of different properties including plots, flats, and apartments in other areas of the federal capital, Islamabad.

It had come to the notice of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Housing and Works that the allotments of plots, flats, and apartments are facing delays for several reasons. In a meeting held for briefing in the National Assembly on the updates of different ongoing projects, the Director General, of FGEHA shared the details of developments with the members.

As a result, NA officials advised the organization to address the issues and resolve them quickly so that the allotments of different properties could be given to respective owners. The general waiting list for these allotments was also shared with the NA officials that show the category-wise allotment in Sectors G-9 and G-10 of Islamabad. Furthermore, the officials of FGEHA also informed the NA, that almost 1100 employees of Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad are also residing in the properties, originally, specified for the employees of different ministries and government organizations.

However, the Standing Committee has ordered FGEHA to resolve the issues by any means and get on with the allotments shortly.
