DHA Islamabad – Rawalpindi Interchange to be Inaugurated Soon
The road network of Islamabad and Rawalpindi is about to witness a significant transformation as the much-awaited DHA Islamabad-Rawalpindi Interchange is set to be inaugurated soon. This groundbreaking development promises to alleviate traffic congestion, enhance connectivity, and provide a seamless commute experience for residents and travelers in the region.
DHA Islamabad – Rawalpindi is one of the leading housing projects in the twin cities that offer residential and commercial plots. DHA Islamabad – Rawalpindi is made up of different phases from Phase 1 to Phase 6. In the past, the Administration of DHA applied for the construction of an interchange on the Islamabad Expressway to the Capital Development Authority (CDA). The main purpose of this interchange was to improve the traffic flow the society and accessibility.
The application was approved and the developers started work on the project, and now, it’s near completion and the DHA administration has announced the inauguration. The exact date for the inauguration is not announced yet, but banners have been installed in different phases of DHA Islamabad – Rawalpindi highlighting the inauguration.
The DHA Interchange was constructed under the Islamabad Expressway Expansion project; the main aim of developing this project is to make the road from Karal Chowk to T Junction signal free. Two split loops are developed for DHA Islamabad – Rawalpindi Phase 2 and Phase 5, which will ensure easy accessibility to both of these phases.
