DHA Bahawalpur Launched Go Green Tree Plantation Drive
To commemorate the National Tree Plantation Day, DHA Bahawalpur’s Horticulture launched the ‘Go Green Tree Plantation Drive.’ DHA Bahawalpur has always been active in promoting a green environment in the housing society.
They have recently celebrated Spring Festival and it was a huge success as it was well-received by the residents of Bahawalpur. DHA Bahawalpur is getting popular among the masses for its promotion of a green environment.
The Tree Plantation Drive is a step to promote the idea of a green future for the generations to come. National Tree Plantation Day was celebrated by DHA Bahawalpur to send a message to the entire nation to plant more trees for a sustainable future.
Project Director Brig Basharat Ali started the plantation drive by planting the first sapling. Brig Basharat also delivered an address on this occasion about the importance of plantation drive.
This was done to create awareness in the nation about the plants and their endless benefits for the citizens of a state. He also added that the plants are a way to eliminate pollution from the environment and a healthy lifestyle can prevail.
Every DHA Bahawalpur Staff was encouraged to plant a sapling on this occasion. Moreover, the housing society stands true to its words of promoting a green environment in society.
